Greetings my lovely followers and friends! With all the free time you now have stuck in your house, you're probably in need of some fresh music. Don't panic! I got you covered - here are the albums you gotta check out this week!

JUNK FOOD - EASY LIFE

I had heard Easy Life's Earth a while before their EP dropped, and as soon as they released a collab track with Arlo Parks, I knew they must have some raw talent. These guys make music so fun to listen to; they have a childlike playfulness, so they're definitely not afraid to mix up funky beats with instrumentals and poetic vocals. You're gonna want Nice Guys playing in your room with the windows WIDE open.

ONCLE JAZZ - MEN I TRUST

I am blessed to have had the chance to see Men I Trust last year as an early birthday present (thank you abbey!!) and wow, this group is just as incredible in person as they are through my headphones. Their jazzy, relaxed tones mixed with Emma's buttery vocals are guaranteed to make you ~vibe~ whether it is 9 in the morning or 5 in the afternoon. For (arguably) the best soft bop on the album, play Say Can You Hear.

WHY IS BEING A HUMAN BEING SO HARD? - WILMAH

I feel like it was just yesterday when I was sitting on Fordham's Keating steps with Matt and Will while they played recordings of their tracks for me off their phones. It's been awesome watching these lads grow in both their confidence and style of music. Wilmah has a LANY-meets-The 1975 sound, complete with irresistibly catchy lyrics and equal parts dance in the kitchen/cry in your basement feels. Blast Diana while driving on the highway, windows down, and brace yourself for a Perks of Being a Wallflower moment.

MISS ANTHROPOCENE - GRIMES

It amazes me how versatile Grimes is in her body of work, and her fifth studio album is no exception! Each song takes you through a completely different experience, and the album is full of surprises. Take the track 4ÆM, which boasts contrasting themes of Indian-esque traditional vocals and rave electro-punk energy. If you're looking for an album to take you through a rollercoaster of genres and emotions, then Grimes is your girl.

I hope that you guys give these artists a listen and appreciate all the passion and hard work they put into their music! As always, DM me if you have any post recommendations or feedback!

Until Next Time,

Anna xxx
