JINX - CRUMB

This whole album is the definition of chill. Mellow snare and kick beats couple with astral guitar riffs to produce a sound that makes you feel like you're being taken to another planet for a while. The lead vocals are airy and light, keeping the tone of the album ethereal as hell. This is the perfect album to put on when you're looking to dissociate (a personal favorite). The aesthetic for the band embodies a warm yellow, which fits the feeling of laying in bed with the sun streaming through the blinds.

Favorite Track - Ghostride

IGOR - TYLER THE CREATOR

I have nothing but rave reviews for this album. Tyler really goes off in the production, juxtaposing elements of synth beats, tempo changes, and of course his lyricism. If you wanna get put in your feels, this is the album to put on and reminisce about your past loves. The transitions between songs nicely compliment the themes associated with each song, carrying a different mood in turn.

Favorite Track - I THINK

FAKE TUNES - BEAR HANDS

After a few years of hiatus, the boys come back strong with a new album that includes everything from get up and dance tunes to feeling blue tunes to banging your head tunes. Their classic messy guitar sound is transferred over, but a new type of relaxed vibe is simultaneously introduced. You're bound to find a song on here that speaks to you, as each one tells a unique new story.

Favorite Track - Back Seat Driver (Spirit Guide)
