Hello everyone! As I was doing a bit of spring (phone) cleaning, I came upon notes I collected from people who reached out and told me fond memories they had of or with my mom, Tina. I figured we all need to read some kind words right now, and these anecdotes bring back some amazing times with the kindest woman I've ever known. I hope you enjoy these messages as much as I do. I guarantee mom is up there making a 'quarantini' and listening to some Dean Martin right about now <3

"The first one that comes to mind is her doing yoga on the beach with the Russians last summer"
"Bumping to 'Bills' by Lunch Money Lewis I think is one of my favorites"
"I just remember her being so warm and welcoming to me even though I didn’t know you guys. When Becca started to hang out with you I didn’t know you or your family but when I met your mom, she was so amazing and kind to me"
"When taking pictures for you and dokus for prom, your mom had such a welcoming warm personality that made me feel instantly at home. Whenever it was my turn to drive, seeing the way she would say bye in the mornings with big hugs or wait for you to come back in the afternoons with the brightest smiles was amazing. she was absolutely so so beautiful"

"I remember one time you had people over to your house for a party and she told me there was pizza on the counter and I took a slice pretending I didn’t know already and looked her in the eyes and said that it was my first slice knowing FULL WELL that that was slice number 5 for me then told her about it later and she laughed"
"I remember your mom coming to JP to see you at lunch and she sat with us (I forget what grade but) she was always so nice and had the biggest smile and I was always kinda jealous because my mom never came to lunch but it was always so fun"
"There are so many things I will never forget about your mom️. One memory I really love is when we all went to the bakery together after I got to go to your church (and see you perform so beautifully!!) and we all had such a great time together. I always looked up to your mom in so many ways because she was so unbelievably selfless, and spread so much love wherever she went. I am so thankful I was blessed enough to have known her️️"
"I remember her CONTINUALLY forcing me to wear sunscreen at the beach :)"

"Your mom was one of the sweetest and bright lights I have ever known. Her generosity and love knew no bounds. It was such an honor to be your nanny and become part of your family. I loved your mom like she was an aunt- of all the memories I have of your mom, my most favorite ones are remembering how she was with you and Sophia! She lived and breathed for you girls! Also one of my other favorite memories was your mom talking to me about getting you girls the cats. She was so perplexed about it but she knew how badly you wanted them!"
"Hi I don't know you but I know Sophia and my sister played on the same soccer team! at one of their indoor games, your mom talked to my mom about how proud she was of you applying to college and how much you loved Fordham and hoped you would go there..."
"Our congregation in Guelph was very small and some years the only kids in the Christmas program were us - me, your mom and my sister. I was always terrified to stand in front of the congregation and sing/say our poems. Your mom always said to me ‘ be brave’! and held my hand when we stood together."

Until Next Time,
Anna xxx
Loved reading this and seeing your pictures! You are beautiful, just like your Mama! xoxo
