So, this is something that I've lived by the past few years. It seems as if my entire life has been twisting and turning in all different directions, some good and some bad. This quote reminds me to let experiences in, let them shape your values and thoughts and feelings.

If You Knew Me...

1. I came out as bisexual this past summer, which was a huge step in my life. I struggled with my identity through most of high school, and started to experiment with different styles of dress and makeup. Coming out allowed me to express myself in masculine and feminine ways.

2. My mom just passed away this break. It has been a journey that never seems to end, as each day I wake up and everything almost feels normal. Having a mother figure is something that a lot of people take for granted in their lives, and unfortunately my sister, dad and I just don't have that luxury.

3. I love music as much as I love my family. I began percussion in high school and also was writing my own songs starting in grade five. Later on, I learned how to play the guitar and I'm now working on releasing some of my own music (hopefully) in 2019.

So, Here's the Plan:

Phase 1: create a journal-like concept in which I fill you guys in on what I think is pretty cool

Phase 2: experiment with aspects of my life, and then share my findings

Phase 3: allow myself to form healthy relationships without putting my trust and self esteem in the hands of anyone**
